Name's Tony Stark, but I bet you already knew that.

tricksandtreatsplease:

I did way too much yesterday.  My nerve problems are flipping out and I’m more or less bedridden.  In a lot of pain and I’m just gonna try and reply where I can.

ask-phil:

“It wouldn’t hurt.” Phil shrugged.

“Lead the way, Mr. Stark.”

Tony smiled and lead the agent to his lab.  “Jarvis, you there?”  He asked.  An english voice sounded, always a bit of a comfort to Tony.  “Always, sir.  How can I help you today?”

“JARVIS, I need you to take a full-body scan of Agent Coulson here.”  Tony said, moving the agent into the proper spot for Jarvis to do so.  A holographic scan of Agent Coulson’s body appeared nearby and Tony wandered over to it, peering at the moving hologram.

“From my initial study of things, Agent, you look pretty damn healthy.  There’s scarring from what I assume have been wounds from missions but nothing to be concerned about.”  He spun it to the image was of Coulson’s back and studied his spine closely.

born-on-the-fourth-of-july:

“And hello to you, Tony. Quick with the nicknames as usual, I see.”

“I am nothing if not consistent, Capsicle.  How you doin?”

ask-phil:

Phil showed a hint of a smile in amusement. “Yes, I believe the first option is the best.”

The agent thought about bringing all of the rookies here, and mentally cringed. It would take hours to get all of those people here, plus Coulson didn’t want to waste the time doing that. Let recruits be recruits, honestly the rumours and stories are pretty amusing from time to time.

“We don’t need to bring them all here. I was just offering on a whim, but if you really do want to test me it would be… interesting. I don’t have anything else planned for the day.”

“Agent, I don’t need to scan you but if you would like to have a full body scan just to see how you’re doin, I have the time.”  Tony offered, chuckling.

ask-phil:

“Still, I’d like to see you prove the new kids at SHIELD wrong. What would you do to test me?”

Agent Coulson put the weapon away, back into the holder on his side, and took a step backwards. He brushed off his jacket with one hand.

“We could gather the new recruits in my tower and have JARVIS scan you in front of them.”  Tony offered, shrugging.  Or, yknow, make you bleed actual blood.”  He chuckled.  “I’m thinking JARVIS is best.  We can scan me first so it shows it’s not rigged.”

ask-phil:

The agent sees the action coming from a mile away. After all, Mr. Stark wasn’t exactly trained in hand-to-hand combat. He was just a man in a suit. A man that Phil was put in charge of babysitting.

Coulson sidestepped the phone and whipped out the tazer from his side. In two steps he was in front of Tony Stark, weapon buzzing and making the air hum in front of the man’s face.

No, I suppose not.

Tony didn’t even blink.  He didn’t doubt that Coulson would react in some manner like this.  He just let an amused smirk cross his features and he tilted his head.  “Didn’t say you weren’t a good agent, Agent, but you’re not an android of any kind.”

ask-phil:

An actual robot of me probably probably wouldn’t be as emotionless as the original.

Oh, and how do you know I’m not a synthezoid?

-chucks his phone at Phil-  Your reflexes aren’t Synthezoid fast.

ask-phil:

That I’m actually a robot replacement of the ‘original’ Agent Coulson.

The fact that I haven’t slept much recently due to the pile of work I have doesn’t help.

-laughs-  Oh that’s tempting to make now.  But no, you’re not a robot.

I’m sure.
